Improve Physical Performance With Intense Exercise

Everyone is looking for a quick way to lose fat, and look good. People try drugs, supplements, and other unnatural ways to improve their physical fitness. Unfortunately, what people don't realize is that it is simpler to accomplish when you are willing to put in the effort. Taking pills is the easy way out, try exercise. Exercise is the key to success for improving physical performance and physique.

If you just find at most one hour of your day for exercise your goals will be met and you may even surpass them. The key to success is a consistent exercise program that you follow year round. It is even more important than diet. When fitness and diet are combined you become unstoppable and the pounds start coming off.

Now you may be wondering what exercises can you do, where do you start. Well, it's easier than you think and I will provide you with a basic foundation so you can begin right away, with or without a gym. To begin, it is essential that you run. Your cardiovascular system needs to be strong enough to carry your body and lift weights. In turn, as a benefit, your body will try to adapt. It will aim to reduce weight so you run faster and longer. You will lose fat and build muscle.

A good start for running, is a light jog for a mile or two, for a week straight. Once you have adapted to running you can begin to increase the intensity and distance. By increase intensity, I mean you can start doing sprints. Interval sprinting is an excellent way to burn fat and build muscle at the same time. How interval running works is, you must sprint for 30 seconds, then jog for 45 seconds. Do this four to six times. And you are done. This strengthens your heart and takes off pounds. It will also get you into amazing shape and allow you to lift weights with ease.

Next you will want to do some weight lifting to strengthen your muscles. You should first finish a week or two of running before beginning weight lifting. For the weight lifting portion you should focus on hitting every muscle in your body. It would help to look up various exercises, try to focus on compound lifts they are the most beneficial lifts.

Next diet and supplements, try eating lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. If you choose you can also take supplement. There are many supplements that can help aid in boosting your metabolism and help build muscle. For example, green tea extract, is a natural supplement that will give you energy, boost your metabolism, and help you keep going in the gym and on runs. There are many supplements out there, some to improve memory and others to increase focus.
