Are You Going To Decide If You Will Do Natural Miscarriage Or D And C Operation?

Are you trying to decide if you will have natural miscarriage or d&c operation?

Natural miscarriage?
Should women have to have d&c or natural miscarriage? This is a isn't simple question to decide for you. It can be hard to have to make decision like that and doctors don't always know for sure what is the best in your situation.

It is a risk either way.

There could be complications from d&c and there are possible complications trying to have natural miscarriage too.

From my experience
I had to make such difficult decision before too and it wasn't easy.
I wanted to try natural miscarriage, so I hoped to have a natural miscarriage. My baby died at 8 weeks and I had miscarriage at 14 weeks.

I was worried of risk complications from having d&c . There are possible side effects as with any operation. I never had an operation in my entire life before and I was afraid being put to sleep and having no control over what is going on. Maybe I was watching too much television about medical mistakes and didn't want anything like this happen to me too.

Was I scared of having a natural miscarriage? Of course I was. The only reassurance I had that nurse said it should like a heavy period and some women have it more painful and others have it less painful. So, I thought I could definitely handle a heavy period. I couldn't find much information on internet how much pain women have going through this.

If I could talk to someone or read about previous experiences people had, it would be easier for me. I was brave and I wanted to wait and see what would happen to me.

What happened during miscarriage

Miscarriage wasn't as scary or painful as some people would describe. Yes, it was like a heavy period. Yes, I had real contractions for many hours. Was it really painful? No, it wasn't. It was very tolerable and you could handle such pain without pain medication.

When baby appeared I didn't even realized what happened. If I didn't know I was pregnant, I wouldn't even realize that I just miscarried a baby. I knew what to look for, so I looked for a baby. Baby came out with a lot of blood. It wasn't very painful, I cold handle that. I took some painkillers in the last hour of my contractions, but it only made me dizzy, but didn't really reduced my pain much at all. I could handle this pain very well and it wasn't horrible.

After
Some women have to have d and c operation after miscarriage but I was lucky I didn't have to. I had an ultrasound in my doctors office that told me all tissues came out and they send me home. I was very glad I didn't have to have d&c after all of these happened to me.
Be strong, believe you can handle everything and you will overcome anything that comes your way.
